Working group on Loss & Damage and the challenges of mobility – 1st call

On February 23, the Loss and Damage Collaboration and PDD jointly convened the 1st call of the “Loss and Damage and the Challenges of Human Mobility and Displacement” Working Group. The Group attempts to bring together experts working on Loss and Damage and Human Mobility to share experiences and work towards common advocacy objectives.

The call was attended by over 50 participants, including representatives of civil society organizations, research institutions, and international organizations.

This first call focused on the following topics:

1. Structure and affiliation of the Working Group;
2. Scope of work and value added;
3. Objectives of the work;
4. Working modalities.

Going forward, PDD and L&DC plan on convening calls for this Working Group on a monthly basis. Please contact us if you are interested to participate in the calls of the working group.
