Loss & Damage and Displacement – Notes from the 2023 PDD Advisory Committee

At the 2023 PDD Advisory Committee, 25 AC Members came together in a parallel session to discuss key opportunities to promote advocacy on displacement and loss and damage through current and upcoming global policy workstreams. The session was also an opportunity to reflect on the main advocacy priorities on displacement and loss & damage from a human mobility perspective, and to start formulating some relevant messages.

The discussions resulted in a set of notes, which has since been integrated in the report of the Advisory Committee, and disseminated through relevant networks of experts. This document will also form the basis for more articulated reflection and development of messages for PDD in the coming months.
